I am fortunate to be a part of a team of professionals whose mission, like mine, is to ensure individuals achieve a successful and fulfilling retirement.
My greatest satisfaction stems from being a father to my son. Watching him grow and experience the world is an amazing adventure, for him and me. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing and traveling.
Brian joined McLean to work alongside like-minded professionals who want to provide financial freedom and confidence to highly accomplished people.
After retiring from his professional baseball career, having pitched in both the minor and major leagues, Brian was drawn to the financial planning field. While working as an athlete, Brian had professionals overseeing his financial life, and he saw first-hand how that provided peace of mind. He realized how much he valued the quality advice he received and decided to follow a similar path for his post-baseball career. His experiences in baseball and passion for personal finance give Brian a unique perspective and skill set that very few advisors possess.
Brian set out to deliberately and methodically become educated on how to create and grow wealth and access it properly to fund a fulfilling retirement that lasts decades. His academic path led him to The American College of Financial Services, where he was taught by one of McLean’s Principals, Wade Pfau. Brian earned his Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College of Financial Services and has obtained several of the industry’s most revered designations since he began his career.
When an opportunity to join McLean presented itself, Brian jumped at the chance to work on the front lines of retirement income planning with some of the top thought leaders in the industry. It has been one of the best decisions he has made professionally.
When he is not ‘nerding out’ to the latest retirement planning insights, Brian loves a great round of golf, Crimson Tide football, and spending quality time with his wife Jenny and their three incredible children.
Being able to sit across from a client and reveal that their hard work and the strategies we employed have gotten them to the point that their ideal retirement lifestyle is within reach.
Watching my children work through issues and then seeing the joy on their faces when they figure out a solution and thrive.
